Improving the Restaurant Experience

If you’ve been in a Foong Lian Clay Pot Foods Café recently, you might have noticed something’s different. Maybe it’s the way our friendly employee take your order or the time it takes from ordering to delivering food right to your table. For over a year, we’ve heavily invested in technology to improve our food and service quality in our restaurant.

With the incorporated technology, we manage to improve our performance in following areas:

Cut down wait time

Our efficiency is significantly increased on taking and relaying orders to the kitchen and beverage bar.

Our waiters can now have continuous mobility around the restaurant, while clearly communicating and taking orders. This gives you (our customer) the convenience of table side ordering, whilst also allowing the orders to be recorded and distributed seamlessly.

This also means that you (our customer) will be served and receive meals quickly, without any loss in the overall quality of the experience.

Cut down errors

A lot of human errors can now be avoided in the communication between our waiters and our kitchen or beverage bar staff. The orders are clearly recorded for the staff, forgoing any potential handwriting issues, such as penmanship and shorthand.

Additionally, our waiter will have access to the menu, meaning they will be able to clarify any issues with customer orders and be better suited to taking the correct order. Furthermore, they will have a better sense of table management, assigning the correct order to the specific customer.

Faster Checkout Process

The high speed of transactions in today’s consumer world is commonplace, and anything that seems a little bit behind that will stands out for all the wrong reasons.

We can now making hard copies of orders expendable and recording them digitally in real-time; hence, the overall speed of the checkout process is greatly improved.

We can now focus on creating a more convenient and enjoyable experience for anyone who comes into our restaurant.
